Attendance on any of the First Aid Courses is conditional on applicants being relatively fluent in written and spoken English.
Applicants must be aged 21 or older and
Industry Sector specific programmes are available on request. These courses cover the same content as the Appointed Person course, but include and incorporate situations and conditions that might be encountered in contexts particular to each Industry situation.

This HSE approved First Aid course is designed for those work places that are low risk and, as such, do not need a fully qualified 'First Aider'. Appointed Persons can only administer First Aid for which they are trained. This course can be tailored to meet your specific needs, which may have arisen from your own company First Aid Risk Assessment.
Includes: Scene Assessment and Safety, Control of bleeding, CPR for infant, child, and adult, Action in an Emergency, Shock management, Choking management (infant, child, adult), First Aid in the Workplace, 3 year certification, and more...
Includes: Risk assessment for clinics, when mobile, and for events; emergencies for infants, child, and adult; CPR for all ages; choking for all ages; control of bleeding; shock; stroke; and aid for therapy contraindications e.g. varicose veins. This course will also cover conditions requested and/or encountered by delegates in their work situation.
Sport First Aid (12 hours)
Includes: soft tissue injury; fractures; shock and anaphylaxis; dehydration, heat exhaustion and heatstroke; exercise induced asthma and other common illnesses that may affect sporting participation.
